Welcome to my life where menopause meets a boy...Older Moms Unite!! I am a Midlife Mommie to our youngest grandSON. You'll find stories about my happenings with him and talks about my life as an older parent. I offer some of the best product reviews for women and preschoolers. Glad you're here!
I do every year!! But I don't get very many. This is sad...I think. Please post a comment if you'd like. Let me know what your thoughts are on sending out Christmas cards.
I send out Christmas cards as well. I usually don't get very many either. I'm still trying to decide if I want to send out photo cards or just a regular Christmas card.
Kim, yes I try to always send out cards. I'm late this year though, and haven't sent them yet. I've gotten about 5 cards so far. Just from my close group of mommy friends :) We get much less than we send out, so don't be sad. xo
I've always sent out Christmas cards. For about 9 years, I've been sending about 30 cards to international friends and family. This year, I cut it back to 10, which were mostly my relatives in Greece. It's just getting too expensive. I have a couple of local friends that never send cards, but I send them one anyway. Stamps are going up next year, so I am going to have to re-think everything about sending out cards. $50-$75 is alot of money I could be spending on my grandchildren. I have a thing about fancy cards and now you only get 6-10 of the nicer cards in a box!
I mail Christmas cards every year. I love getting them but like the rest of you we receive fewer each year. I don't like those e-cards that we get. They are way too impersonal. I think a handwritten note in a card is a nice way to let someone know that you are thinking of them and wishing them well. It only take a few minutes to write & address a card and I wish more of our friends & relatives would keep this tradition alive. I'll keep sending cards even when I don't receive any more in return.
Yes, I do mail them out and them wait for mine to roll in..tho' we don't get many anymore. A lot of people have stopped sending them after postage kept going up. Email greetings just aren't as personal. I used to try to write a note on each, but this year I am lazy. Next year I'll try to write up a letter to add, since my writing isn't as nice as it used to be. Hugs, GraceinAZ
I don't normally send out Christmas cards but I'm thinking about doing it this year.

ReplyDeleteI always send out cards. I love receiving them too. But I'm so far behind this year - none have gone out yet. I need to get moving.
ReplyDeleteI do send them and also love getting them in return but think it is a lost art for many, sadly.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually send out Christmas cards. I should though. I voted for you while I was here.

No, not really. I suppose that I should as people do like to get them. Thanks for the reminder.
